How Pets Can Damage Your Carpets We all love our furry friends, but they can be tough on carpets. I’ve seen it all, from playful puppies to curious kittens. Recently, I had a case with an adult Golden Retriever. This dog, in his excitement, got his collar tag hooked on a loop of Berber carpet. He pulled a six-foot-long run before it snapped! Poor guy just wanted to fetch his toy ball. Thankfully, I was able to repair that torn carpet by re-fibering and seaming it back to like
